Plot
The story is about two sisters, Soumya and Surbhi. Soumya is disliked by her father and grandmother, but is adored by her mother Nimmi. Surbhi gets all the attention from her father. Soumya is a calm and quiet girl, but Surbhi is a fun-loving and loquacious girl.
10 years later
A trouble-maker, Harman, breaks into Soumya's house while running away from some goons. While there, Harman develops feelings for Soumya. Harman learns that Surbhi called the goons and decides to kidnap her but kidnaps Soumya instead. Harman releases Soumya the next day, but all the villagers accuse her of sleeping with Harman. To avoid insult to both the families, Harman's father Harak Singh orders him to marry Soumya and Harak informs to the villagers that he will bring his daughter-in-law together with him after the marriage is done with full of rituals. Nimmi is shocked to see Soumya married to Harman.
Nimmi worries that Harman isn't the right match for Soumya as he might go against her after knowing Soumya's truth. Despite the protests of Harman's mother Preeto and Soumya's father and grandmother, Soumya and Harman get married. During the wedding, Soumya's father attempts to kill Soumya but all in vain. Soon, Harman loves Soumya.
But Soumya learns that she is an Transgender/Eunuch/Intersex and hides it from Harman on Nimmi's insistence. Later, Soumya reveals to Harman that she is intersex and also reveals that her love is true for Harman. Harman becomes enraged and Nimmi begs Harman not to reveal Soumya's secret. Soon Harman and Soumya become friends. However, Preeto finds out Soumya's secret and she exiles Soumya to an intersex society. Meanwhile, Harman and Surbhi try to find Soumya as they do not know that she is in which intersex society and Harman realise that he has fallen for Soumya.
Moreover, Preeto wants Harman to get married to a girl, Mahi but he refuses. Harman and Surbhi find Soumya. Harman and Soumya hide from the shadows of Harak Singh and the other transgenders. When they both reach Soumya's home, they find out that Surbhi is getting married in 3 days. On the day of Surbhi's wedding, Soumya gets kidnapped by Rani and Raveena and gets sold. On the same day, Harman was getting married to Mahi and Malika was there. Malika receives news that Soumya is kidnapped and calls Harman as he is doing the rituals. Harman leaves the marriage hall to find Soumya.
Later Harman, Surbhi and Malika try to find Soumya. They get Surbhi sold to reach Soumya and Harman rescues both of them but when they reach home they learn that Nimmi is dead. Meanwhile, Soumya's father warns Soumya not to enter the home and Harman takes Soumya with him. When Harman returns home everyone is waiting for him to marry Mahi but to their shock they see Soumya with him, holding her hand. Mahi breaks the marriage and leaves.
Later, part of the story is about how Soumya faces Preeto, Harak and Transgenders' Wrath. She adopts a child names him as Aditya and takes care of the baby.
Soumya looses her baby after sometime and face many more problems in her life. Finally, She unites with Harman, her Husband and Preeto also accepts her as her Daughter-In-Law. Kareena, another transgender, who considers Soumya as the reason for her mother's death, plots another wicked plan to destroy Soumya's life. Soumya gets trapped in the evil plan of Kareena thus creating misunderstandings in her relationship with Harman. Harman later meets with a severe accident. He survives the accident but he loses his memories. He later regains his memories but he shows that he hates Soumya. His childhood friend Jasleen arrives at his house later. Harman makes Jasleen believe that his and Soumya's relationship is perfect and fine but later Jasleen learns Soumya's truth of being a transgender and stands on Harman's side. Harak Singh wants to get Jasleen and Harman married considering Jasleen as perfect match for Harman but Preeto wants to save the marriage of Harman and Soumya. Harman is ready to marry Jasleen and Jasleen accepts also accepts the marriage proposal as she secretly loves Harman. Soumya decides to sacrifice her love for the sake of her husband's happiness. She gives up and she starts making arrangements for the marriage of Harman with Jasleen. Jasleen's Father who is a very suave NRI guy from Canada as well as Harak's Friend, comes down to get his daughter Jasleen married to Harman. Soumya suddenly disappears just before the wedding ceremony of Harman and Jasleen leaving behind a letter which is read aloud by Preeto in front of entire family members. By the letter, Soumya wished Harman and Jasleen a happy married life and bids adieu to the family as she is now going away very far from them. Harman, who whole-heartedly loves Soumya, is unable to bear the pain of separation from her, but with a heavy heart proceeds in the wedding rituals only to fulfil the promise he made to his childhood friend. Later, Jasleen asks Harman to break the marriage as she realises that Soumya and Harman are made for each other and nobody can separate them. Harman listens to Jasleen's words and leaves Jasleen at the marriage place, breaking the marriage with her and rushes to stop Soumya from going away. But its too late for Harman as Soumya catches a bus and moves away from Gurdaspur. A heart-broken Harman daydreams about Soumya and searches for her everywhere but she is not found. He rushes to Transgenders' Home and then to Maninder's House to locate Soumya but she is not found anywhere. A heart-broken Harman returns back to his house without Soumya. Jasleen decides to help her friend, in finding his wife Soumya. Later, Harman and Jasleen make efforts to search Soumya in their city, but in vain. Later, Jasleen plans to go to Ludhiana with Harman to search for Soumya thinking that she might be there. Actually, Soumya has fleed away to Ludhiana and searches for a job there. He meets a Businessman named Sameer who is a fun-loving boy, who manufactures toys and owns a toy shop. He is of a happy go lucky and quirky nature. He met Soumya after she parted ways with Harman. He helps her with a job in his toy shop. Destiny brought him and Soumya together, He falls in love with Soumya and that led to trouble in Saumya and Harman's Love Story thus leading to the formation of a Love Triangle between Soumya, Harman and him. His mother is of a positive mother who is quick to understand the value of Soumya in her son's life, With the entry of Soumya, her son's business gets successful and she was soon drawn into the thought of getting her son married to Soumya.
